Our Prayer Ministry is called Christmas Harvest because we are asking God to perform notable healings in China on Christmas Day 2024 to give the persecuted church an awesome opportunity to preach the gospel with the Christmas Story. Plus, the timing of the miracles happening all in one day can increase the people’s faith to believe in Jesus (Luke 7:20-22; John 4:46–54) and waiting for Christmas Day to arrive every year will increase the people’s faith all the more, for a great Christmas Harvest (Luke 8:40)
We hope you can join with us in prayer to bring the light of Christ to where it’s needed the most – to the 1.3 billion in China, who live in spiritual darkness, and do not know Him, including the 140.5 million in the 441 Unreached People Groups.
After a season of prayer for China we’re asking Jesus to perform notable healings on Christmas Day to give the church boldness to preach the gospel.
After Peter and John healed the forty-year-old man born lame they were able to preach the gospel with boldness attributing the notable healing to the power of the Risen Christ. The religious rulers said, “What shall we do to these men? For indeed, a notable healing has been done through them is evident to all who dwell in Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it” (Acts 4:16). The church continued to pray for boldness to preach the gospel and God answered their prayers by stretching out His hand to heal for a great harvest (Acts 5:14-16; 6:7).
Our main focus is to bring the light of Christ to where it’s needed the very most—to the 140.5 million in the 441 Unreached People Groups in China who live in spiritual darkness, and don’t know Him. They have virtually no chance of hearing the gospel. Jesus said people like these are ripe for the harvest already because of their physical and spiritual pain (Matthew 9:35-38).
We’re praying for Jesus to reach the 441 Unreached People Groups by stretching out His hand and perform at least one notable healing in every city, village and tribe to spread the news about Him everywhere, like in the way He stretched out His hand to heal the forty-year-old man born lame and the news spread throughout Jerusalem to all who lived there, and no one could deny it, or like in the way He healed the leper in a certain city in Galilee and the news spread about Jesus everywhere in that region (Acts 4:16; Mark 1:45).
We’re praying for Jesus to stretch out His hand and perform notable healings by just speaking the word from a distance, like in the way He just spoke the word and healed from a distance the nobleman’s son who was lying at home at the point of death (John 4:49) the centurion’s servant who was lying at home paralyzed and tormented (Matthew 8:6) and the mother’s daughter who was lying at home demon-possessed (Mark 7:24-30).
All three of these notable healings relied upon the faith of a loved one who came to Jesus interceding for them. Therefore, through our prayers of faith, and our love for our neighbors in China, we come to Jesus and intercede on their behalf asking Him to heal the multitudes in their sickbed in homes and hospitals, or wherever they may lay on Christmas Day, by just speaking the word from a distance. This will cause the news of Jesus to spread speedily everywhere, and in so doing give the persecuted house churches in China boldness to preach the gospel, for a great harvest.
